Appendix · A.01 · MMXXVI

A framework for performance measurement.

How the campaign would be evaluated, interpreted and improved in a live environment. Good email marketing is not judged by attractive copy alone. It is judged by whether each email performs its intended commercial and psychological role.

The Campaign Funnel

Each stage has one primary responsibility. Measuring the stages separately makes it possible to identify where attention, belief or action is being lost.

Appendix · P.01

A philosophy of measurement.

The campaign is not measured as four isolated emails. Each email has one strategic responsibility.

  • — Email I earns attention.
  • — Email II reframes the problem.
  • — Email III introduces the mechanism.
  • — Email IV invites commitment.
Weak performance should not trigger random copy changes. It should trigger a diagnosis.

Low opens suggest a subject-line or audience problem.

Strong opens but weak completion suggest a pacing or relevance problem.

Strong engagement but weak clicks suggest insufficient intent or CTA clarity.

Strong clicks but weak conversions suggest friction on the landing page, offer or checkout.

Portfolio transparency

The Becoming is speculative work created to demonstrate brand strategy, direct-response copywriting, creative direction and performance-marketing methodology. No live results, conversion rates or revenue figures are claimed or implied. The metrics above represent the framework that would be used to evaluate and optimise the campaign if deployed commercially.
